I loved the colors and coordination that the Coleman family put into this outdoor family photography session. They really know how to pull everyone together. And they know how to have a good time and show off their silly side too! What a fun family!
Having photographed Bekah's family just a little while ago, I kept thinking that she has a resemblance to Ann Hathaway while editing her photos. Photographing her sister, Kelly, I'm now convinced that they both have a resemblance. Am I right?

When I posted Joanna's maternity shoot, I should have titled the blog post "25 days to go", rather than "14 days to go." Precious little Reese kept everyone waiting well past her due date, but she finally arrived and I was so happy to meet her at her at home newborn photography session! She's well worth the wait. Ashleigh and Jacob were such a pleasure to meet and photograph last weekend in their beautiful engagement photos at one of my favorite spots in Harrisburg, PA. Radiating humor and warmth, they have hearts as big as their contagious smiles. I wish them both the best as they plan their wonderful future together.
I have to admit that I LOVE engagement photography sessions like this one so much that I find myself tempted to eventually make this my niche, along with photography for weddings, of course!

Last weekend I visited nearby Hershey to to try my hand at a little pet photography incorporated into this this family photo session. Lobita is a beautiful husky puppy who is sweet and playful and has gorgeous blue eyes. Her owners are equally fun and playful! It isn't every set of parents that spontaneously climb a lamp post or pose as if ready to perform improv comedy! This family knows how to have fun together. I had a wonderfully fun family photography shoot with my friend Bekah and her family at City Island, in Harrisburg, last weekend. I always love to capture evidence that the romance is still alive after children enter a family, and I certainly did on Saturday!

Here is my recent maternity photography session of my beautiful friend Joanna and her family. And how appropriate as it was also my first shoot since I began telling people that I am also pregnant! While I am only 14 weeks pregnant, Joanna had only 14 days until her due date at the time of the shoot. Her charming little boy brought his pirate props and really got into the role, giving me some seriously adorable" pirate" faces. I can't wait to see if their little girl has her daddy's red hair or her big brother's spunk. I'm already excited for the newborn shoot!

Okay, there wasn't really much "singing", but we had plenty of running, jumping, spinning, a little yoga, and a little dancing in the the rain last weekend. It's hard to see all the rain coming down in these shots, which is probably for the best, but believe me when I tell you it sprinkled for the first hour of our shoot! On a side note, did you know they added milk to the raindrops while filming "Singin in the Rain" (one of my favorite movies)? Otherwise, the rain drops didn't show up well on film. I appreciated the Rusten family's willingness to press forward and make the most of the moment. ...
